REDUCES ENERGY CONSUMPTIONAND IMPROVES POSTURAL STABILITY.

Human balance It is controlled by the vestibular system and enables dynamic interaction with the external environment in harmony with the force of gravity.

The primary receptors, through otolith reflexes, allow for the maintenance of posture and, thanks to continuous automatic adjustment, enable us to counteract gravity.

EQT PEOPLE

BALANCE IN SPORTS

Athletes must constantly challenge their static and dynamic balance and improve their coordination.

The relationship between balance and sport is therefore crucial, as improving balance can also enhance athletic performance.

EQT is the innovative technology by ACCAPI that interacts with the human body, enhancing:

  • balance
  • postural stability
  • motor coordination
  • reducing involuntary sway
the study - PROF. TATSUMOTO

THE DOKKYO STUDY

The study conducted by Prof. Muneto Tatsumoto at Dokkyo Medical University Saitama Medical Center (Soka, Saitama, Japan) involved a total sample of 26.366 individuals, 12.875 of who wore EQT technology.

Over the 24-month observation period, the
following results emerged:

reduction in falls

At the surgical department of Dokkyo Hospital, a significant reduction in falls was observed in relation to the monitoring of post-operative mobility during the period under examination.

reduction in sprains

The study conducted by Prof. Tatsumoto highlighted that the use of this technology impacts the inner ear and muscle receptors, contributing to a reduction of events and confirming a positive impact on stability and movement control.

reduction in body sway

Center of gravity (COG) sway analysis revealed that, by using EQT technology, COG variation is reduced by 29%, indicating improved balance control during walking and functional activities.

reduction in fatigue

In expert gymnasts, a reduction in center of gravity sway was detected following muscular exertion. This highlights a positive effect on postural control and a decrease in fatigue, resulting in maintained stability even under strenuous conditions.

speed increase

After three trail running laps, medio-lateral body sway was detected, attributable to muscular fatigue. Bipedal postural maintenance on the medio-lateral axis was evaluated over a 1 km course for a duration of 30 seconds, in order to analyze postural control under fatigued conditions.

stabilometric study

Dr. Giovanni Bavaresco and Dr. Lorenzo Lai conducted a study using the Cyber Sabot stabilometric platform, aiming to evaluate variations in specific foot pressure indices resulting from stimulation induced by EQT technology.

increase stability

Yarn’s ball lenght. This indicates how much the foot’s Center of Pressure (CoP) has moved over a period of 25.6 seconds. In practice, it represents the ‘path traveled’ by the body’s weight shifts while the subject is standing: the longer this path, the greater the oscillation and the lower the stability.

increase postural control

Yarn’s ball area. This value represents the surface area of the ellipse that encloses the movement of the foot’s Center of Pressure (CoP), calculated based on 90% of the recorded data points. It is an index directly linked to the subject’s stability: a smaller surface area indicates better postural control and greater stability.

vitesse variation

This parameter indicates the average variation in the velocity of the foot’s Center of Pressure (CoP) during measurement. It is an index correlated with tonic-postural activity and, consequently, energy expenditure: lower values suggest more efficient postural control and reduced fatigue.

not just for sport

The research findings on Accapi EQT technology have opened new perspectives in the development of innovative wellness-oriented solutions.

The application of this scientific evidence has led to the creation of product lines capable of improving quality of life, supporting daily well-being, optimizing athletic performance, and promoting more effective recovery.

A balance between research, technology, and the human body that translates into real, measurable, and lasting benefits.
